Family Border We live in Cochabamba, Bolivia and work at Camp Kewina.  The camp is owned by SIM. (Serving in Missions)  The camp has been active for over 20 years.  Eric has a degree in forestry and is currently working on purchasing a sawmill to harvest, work, and sell the wood on the camp property.  The money this generates will then go into the camp programs.  Eric is the site coordinator.  He coordinates and maintains the land and the buildings at camp.  He also plans and runs camps of all sorts.  Emily helps by packing up the family and running to and fro.  She also homeschools Benji and Lydia while Ellie keeps herself busy playing with everything in front of her.  Emily meets with neighbors and tries to encourage people around her.

1st if family, 2nd is camp and 3rd is the church work - Our joyful gift

Emanuel Baptist Church is the local village church in Candalaria that we support the most.  All the children are invited from the school to join in special camp projects, and we encourage them to go to church during the year.  This year some private donors sent some money for church improvements.  Slowly but surely they are coming along.  They hope to have a bathroom a kitchen and some other new nice things as time allows for the men to leave their fields to work in the church.  There may, someday, be a Compassion Project there.  We hope!
